Build Your Proactive Care Network, Part 1

Wilmington, DE, June 19, 2025 – Though what is discussed here may not be news to everyone, it may not be news to enough. That news? It is important to build your network of proactive healthcare providers. Too many times, people tend to schedule appointments with healthcare providers reactively; that is, after a health event occurs. Though, of course, this may work for a variety of simple health issues, this may not bode well in the long-term for health issues that could have been minimized or even.

“Preventive healthcare has been integral in the management of my personal health. I believe it is a major reason why I have been able to minimize time off from work by avoiding getting the flu or a cold. It has helped me manage seasonal allergies and it is currently why I am able to work through a more serious genetic issue that I learned I developed in early 2022. Though the development and onset may have occurred much earlier than when it affected me more seriously, I credit my proactive network stance as the reason that I am able to work through it and also work towards persevering past it,” says basicPR owner (Dr.)Bill Everett.

So, what does a proactive healthcare network look like? It is much more than a network of doctors. Your network should be made up of the variety of service providers that work to aid you with your;

  • mental health.
  • physical health.
  • food and nutrition.
  • religious health.
  • skeletal and muscle health.
  • strength and conditioning.
  • social health (interaction, involvement, etc).
  • relaxation and stress relief (i.e., massage, yoga, sound massage therapy, meditation).

In essence, any service and provider that touches your overall well-being is part of your proactive healthcare network. In subsequent parts of this series, (Dr.) Everett will share experiences and testimonies related to the building of his proactive healthcare network.
